Selena Quintanilla Perez (Spanish pronunciation"se'lena kinta'nija 'pere April 16, 1971 - March 31 1995), was an American Tejano singer. The "Queen Tejano music", her contributions to fashion and music helped make her one of the most popular Mexican-American entertainers of all time.
