Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July of 1991, in Canada. She is a Canadian actor, best famous for her character Felicity Smoak in The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards is an British Columbia native. Beginning on her career path at a young age, she began to explore dance and theatre with the hope of later introducing herself to more serious acting. After graduating early from high-school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. When she completed the program, she auditioned for an open audition, which led to the services of a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was the place she studied. The chemistry she shared with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as her sarcastic remarks led to being initially signed for a single episode Guest Star.
