Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role, she won the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second-youngest winner in Oscar history.
